Summer Irrigation Service usually runs from April/May to October. Each irrigation cycle starts on Cactus and is completed on Thunderbird. The Cycle runs two weeks then starts again without a week break up on Cactus.
Winter Irrigation Service starts around the end of October or into the 1st week of November through April/May of each year all pending weather conditions relating to rain. Winter cycle is performed every three weeks.

Irrigation service starts on Cactus on 1/19, moving North to Thunderbird with a completion date of 1/29. There will be a week off then service resumes on February 9th on Cactus.

Irrigation Service
Service is on Windrose and the South side of Sweetwater. Irrigation will begin in Section 7 later tomorrow and by Friday service will be on the South side of Emile Zola. Service will continue the following week ending on December 11th and will resume after the Christmas holiday.
The pump motor is scheduled to be pulled on Friday December 12th.

Irrigation service has been suspended this week and will resume on Monday December 1st Service will continue through December 11th and conclude the cycle.

Irrigation Service is canceled until December 1st due to the heavy rainfall we have had in the community. Irrigation service maybe postponed further if we receive more rain this coming weekend. Please check the weebsite for updates.
Please note that irrigation will be done from December 12-the holiday to perform the needed repair and maintenace on the pump motor.

Irrigation
Irrigation Service was delayed this morning due to an emergency line repair in Section 7. Irrigation Service ***all pending the amount of rain we received this weekend will resume on Monday November 15th. Service will resume in Section 7 and start in Section 3 on the North side of Sweetwater. We anticipate starting Section 4 on the North side of Emile Zola on Wednesday and completing the cycle by late Thursday or Friday morning.

The wellsite electrical upgrades have been completed, and we have the pump motor repair scheduled to start December 12th through the following week. The BOD scheduled this repair to coincide with the 3-week schedule. Please refer to the website for updates.
The BOD appreciates everyone’s patience during our irrigation electrical upgrade and the upcoming repair in December. The Board has tried to maintain a steady irrigation schedule but please understand this can be difficult when challenges arise. There is no guarantee that an irrigation schedule will maintain consistency. We have an older irrigation system, and repairs need to be managed when they arise and when we have heavy rain, irrigation service is delayed.

Irrigation service is suspended from 10/13-17. The board will review on Satuday October 18th to determine in irrigation will be held into the following week.
Wellsite Electrical Upgrades
Wellsite upgrades begin on October 28th and irrigation service will be on hold until completion. 10/29 the system will be deenergized, demo of exiting panel and installation of the new panel to begin. October 30 the meter to be connected and COP inspection. October 31st commission and testing of the pump. 11/3 irrigation will resume.
10/8/25 Irrigation resumed 10/6 after a week delay due to heavy rain on Cactus Road
9/4/25 Irrigation has been suspended today due to heavy rainfall last night. There is a 60% advisement that another storm today.

Reminder to clear your Bridle path areas of tall grass, weeds, overhanging tree limbs and protruding shrubs. With the recent rain main properties need immediate attention. If you need assistance with clearing your areas of help with basic yard work – Greg (irrigation contractor) is available for hire and he is on site today and through tomorrow doing misc. work for several property owners. Update 8/24 Irrigation service starts in Section 3 on Monday and will continue North. The extensive mainline repair on 52nd street will begin on Wednesday and will be completed on Friday. Refer to Community update page for more details.
Update 8/8 Irrigation Service is completed Section 2 and Section 7 this morning and they are in Section 3 on the North side of Sweetwater and South side of Pershing. They will resume 8/12 on the South side of Pershing and continue to the North side of Pershing and South side of Emile Zola and move North to Voltaire and Thunderbird remainder of the week to complete the cycle by late Thursday or early Friday.
NOTICE Posted 8/8 – on website.Contractors will be working on a large main line repair on 52nd St. South of Pershing and Sweetwater. The Bridle path on the west entrance off Sweetwater and between Pershing and Sweetwater may be closed during this time. Service is to begin 8/20-22. We are not anticipating any delays in the irrigation service; however, the irrigation contractor will be jumping sections to accomidate the repair so service on your lot may be different than your normal day for properties North of Sweetwater or Section 7. We appreciate your patience and flexibility. We will send out a reminder and post on the website as we get closer to 8/20
UPDATE 7/30 – Irrigation service is in Section 3 on the South of Emile Zola tonight and tomorrow and will in Section 4 on the North side of Emile Zola and start on Voltaire tomorrow and through Friday completing the cycle on Friday on Thunderbird.
Irrigation service is back on track and starts on Monday August 4th on Cactus.
UPDATE 7/23 – Irrigation updates will be posted on the Sunburst Farms East website moving forward. Should there be an emergency or unforeseen delay an email will be sent out to the community in addition to posting on the website.
We appreciate everyone’s patience with the irrigation schedule and hopefully following this irrigation cycle the irrigation contractor will be back on schedule and starting on Cactus on Mondays.
Irrigation started om Cactus Tues 7/22 and Charter Oak. 7/23 they will be on Larkspur by the end of day on Wednesday. Irrigation will be heading north to Windrose on Thursday and the south side of Sweetwater.
Irrigation will be on the north side of Sweetwater and into Section 7 on Friday 7/25.
Irrigation on Monday 7/28 will begin on the south side of Pershing and continue North.

Irrigation Service resumed on Friday June 6th. The irrigators are currently in Section 3 on the southside of Emile Zola and moving over to the North side and continuing on to completion on Thunderbird. The next irrigation cycle will begin on Cactus late Tuesday or Wednesday am. Irrigation service will continue through Section 2 and should be on Sweetwater on Monday.
